Measure from outside of your shoulder bone to the top of your opposite hip bone (almost to the seam of your pants -- about where you would rest your hand on your hip). See picture below. Tape measure should be snug but not too tight (about like a Miss America sash J). If you’re pregnant you can measure across your back. Sometimes it’s helpful to have someone else measure for you (when you lean over to see your measurement you may take off a few inches!).
